Bassano del Grappa is waiting for you with its streets full of history, monuments and palaces; such as the historic Ponte degli Alpini and locations related to the Great Wars, or the museums such as the Civic Museum where you can admire an exstensive collection of paintings by Jacopo Da Ponte; or Palazzo Strum, housing two museums , the museum of Ceramics and the Remondini museum, dedicated to the press.

Walk in the beautiful square and a short sightseeing stop at the Castle of Marostica.

VILLA GODI MALINVERNI - Lugo di Vicenza (VI)
Visit of the villa – length 60/90 min.
This is recognized as the first villa of Andrea Palladio of 1542, in which the great architect expresses his spatial concepts which will then be processed with classical results after his travels to Rome. The body of the villa contains within in a vast cycle of paintings. Great artists such as Gianbattista Zelotti, Battista del Moro e Gualtiero Padovano, first great Venetian landscape painter, have enriched this beautiful home with frescoes. An Italian garden and a nineteenth-century romantik parc sorround the villa on the hill. For the plant lovers a rich collection of fossils, including the world’s longest palm fossil, that is 9 meter high and full of roots and leaves.


CASTLE PORTO COLLEONI THIENE – Thiene (VI)
Visit of the castle and the garden – duration 60 min.
The structure of the castle is that of a Venetian palace with angular towers and Gothic mullioned. Extraordinary example of Villa before Palladio, it is a fundamental building to understand the evolution of the Venetian villas. Inside full of period décor and an important collecition of portraits and equestrian paintings; very important are also the cycle of frescoes by G.B.Zelotti and G.A.Fasolo that decorate the room with the Gothic fireplace. The eighteenth-century stables, by far the most luxurious in Veneto, by Francesco Muttoni who completed the structure. In the historic garden there is a sixteenth-century icehouse. there is the possibility to do some wine tasting in the old kitchen, or enjoy a lunch/ buffet in the castle with an external catering service.
